Pre-treatment:
  • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for one week before treatment.
  • Alcohol should not be consumed 24 hours before the surgery.
  • Avoid smoking for at least 24 hours before treatment.
  • Keep your skin clean and free of makeup, lotions, or skincare products.
  • Reschedule if you have a rash, infection, or cold sore in the treatment area.
  • Inform your provider if you are susceptible to cold sores.
  • Have a light meal before coming in to avoid feeling dizzy.
  • Notify your provider about any medical conditions, allergies, or medications.

Post-treatment:
  • Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated area for at least four hours.
  • After treatment, remain upright and refrain from lying down for four hours.
  • Avoid heavy lifting, bending, or exercise for 24 hours.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, saunas, and hot showers for a whole day.
  • Do not get facials, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments for 10 days.
  • Bruising or swelling is normal. Apply a cool compress if needed.
  • Take acetaminophen (Tylenol) for discomfort. Avoid ibuprofen or aspirin.
  • Initial results appear in 3–5 days. Full results take up to 14 days.
  • Schedule a follow-up if needed after two weeks.
Pre-treatment:

  • Drink plenty of water to help maintain hydration and filler longevity.
  • Avoid dental treatments for two weeks to prevent pressure on the treated area.
  • Final results appear within 7–14 days. Follow up if needed.

  • Use Arnica or Hirudoid cream if bruising occurs.
  • Do not get facials, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments for 10 days.
  • Results develop gradually over a few weeks. Follow up if needed.
Pre-treatment:
  • Avoid chemical peels, laser treatments, and injectables for at least two weeks before treatment.
  • Stop using retinol, vitamin C, glycolic acid, and exfoliating products three days before treatment.
  • Avoid tanning and self-tanners for four weeks before treatment.
  • Drink plenty of water before and on the day of your appointment.
  • Keep the treatment area clean and free of makeup, lotions, and skincare products.
  • Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores.

     

Post-treatment:
  • Drink plenty of water to support the healing process.
  • Gently cleanse the treated area, avoiding harsh rubbing or exfoliation.
  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise for 48 hours.
  • Wait seven days before using retinol, glycolic acid, or other exfoliating agents.
  • Some swelling, redness, or warmth may occur and should subside within a few days.
  • Sleep with your head elevated for the first two nights to reduce swelling.
  • Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect the treated area.
Pre-treatment:

  • Eat a balanced diet to maintain results.
  • Avoid using exfoliating skincare products for three to five days.
  • Mild swelling, redness, or tenderness is normal. Contact your provider if severe discomfort occurs.
Pre-treatment:
  • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for five to seven days before treatment.
  • Do not drink alcohol or smoke for at least 24 hours before the procedure.
  • Stop taking garlic, ginkgo biloba, St. John’s Wort, and vitamin E one week before treatment.
  • Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores, as antiviral medication may be needed.
  • Keep your skin clean and free of makeup on the day of treatment.

     

Post-treatment:
  • Apply a cold compress for 15 minutes every hour on the first day to reduce swelling.
  • Do not touch, rub, or massage the treated area for at least 12 hours.
  • Sleep on your back with your head elevated for the first few nights.
  • Stick to soft foods and avoid excessive chewing for the first week.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, and excessive facial movements for one week.
  • Do not get facials, facial massages, or other treatments for at least 10 days.
  • Stay out of the sun for two weeks and apply sunscreen daily.
  • Monitor for signs of infection, including pain, swelling, or redness, and contact your physician if needed.
Pre-treatment:
  • Arrange an appointment with your doctor about your medical history and any questions.
  • Do not use vaginal creams, lubricants, or other agents 24 hours before treatment.
  • Drink plenty of water before your appointment.
  • Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your treatment.
  • Avoid sex for 24 hours before treatment.
  • Inform your provider of any active infections, lesions, or skin irritations.

Post-treatment:
  • Keep the treated area clean and dry.
  • Avoid sexual intercourse, tampon use, swimming, hot tubs, and baths for 48 hours.
  • Continue drinking plenty of water to support healing.
  • Mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity is normal and should resolve within a few days.
  • Do not use scented soaps, douches, or other irritants for 48 hours.
  • Attend all follow-up visits to assess progress and determine if additional treatments are needed.
Pre-treatment:
  • Drink at least 24 oz. of water before your appointment.
  • Eat a balanced meal with protein and carbohydrates before your session.
  • Avoid caffeine, including coffee, tea, and soda, before treatment.
  • Refrain from taking antihistamines or decongestants on the day of your appointment if possible.

Post-treatment:
  • Drink at least 24 oz. of water after your treatment to stay hydrated.
  • Eat a balanced meal to support energy levels and recovery.
  • Avoid intense exercise for at least two hours.
  • Apply pressure to the IV site for two minutes and keep the bandage on for one hour.
  • Use a warm compress and elevate your arm if bruising occurs.
  • Contact your provider if you experience any discomfort or unusual side effects.
Pre-treatment:
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 48 hours before treatment.
  • Stop using retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating agents seven days before your appointment.
  • Do not wax, tweeze, or undergo hair removal treatments in the treatment area 48 hours before your session.

Post-treatment:
  • Avoid direct sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Use SPF 30 or higher when outdoors.
  • Do not use exfoliants, retinoids, or harsh skincare products for at least 48 hours.
  • Stay hydrated to promote skin recovery and maintain results.
  • Avoid touching or picking at your skin to prevent irritation or infection.
  • Follow any skincare recommendations provided by your esthetician for optimal results.
Pre-treatment:

  • Drink plenty of water to aid the healing process.
  • Take acetaminophen (Tylenol) if needed for discomfort. Avoid NSAIDs.

  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and smoking for three days to support healing.
  • Sleep on your back with a clean pillowcase to reduce pressure on treated areas.
  • Bruising, swelling, and soreness are normal and may last up to 14 days.
  • Take acetaminophen (Tylenol) if needed for discomfort. Avoid NSAIDs.
  • Use a cool compress to reduce swelling, but do not apply direct pressure.
  • Avoid laser treatments or other facial procedures for two weeks.
